Giving back to the community

sDSC_0092.jpg

Northampton Area Pediatrics has evolved and grown over the last three decades within the community and alongside the families of Northampton, Amherst, and the Pioneer Valley. We are grateful that you entrust your children’s health to us and are committed to sponsoring events, activities and causes that serve children and encourage them to live healthy, active and connected lives.

Northampton Area Pediatrics has sponsored the following events and charities in the last five years (2008-2012)

Major Donations

Northampton Education Foundation

Established in 1991, the Northampton Education Foundation (NEF) is a non-profit organization created to fund projects and programs that expand educational opportunities, foster creativity, and enhance academic experiences in Northampton's public schools. The NEF also works to broaden community support for our public schools.

Hampshire Regional YMCA

Northampton Area Pediatrics sponsored the YMCA as a major donor in their Widening Horizons Capital Campaign which has a goal of raising $1.6 million.  At the center of the campaign is partial funding of the Y's purchase of Camp Norwich, capital improvements at 286 Prospect Street and Camp Norwich, and a generous scholarship program.
