Peter Kenny, MD
Biography
In 1978 I founded what was to become Northampton Area Pediatrics. I was fortunate to be joined in the early years of practice by Dr. Robert Bissell (retired, 2002) and Dr. Catherine Bartlett. Our medical group has continued to grow with additional excellent pediatricians and nurse practitioners joining us over the years.
In today’s world, much can be done to assure that children thrive to develop full and healthy lives. I enjoy keeping up with the latest medical developments with a focus on utilizing technology to give the best possible care for the children we serve. In this regard, I speak frequently to national and local audiences advocating for the use of electronic medical records. I also serve on the Pediatric Council of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and on the Massachusetts Medical Society Task Force on Retail Based Clinics.
