Wendy Chabot, MD

wendy chabotBiography

I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1980 and attended Tufts Medical School in Boston from from 1980-84. While at UMass I met my future husband, Ken Lieberman. After graduate school we were happy to return to western Massachusetts where I completed my pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center. We have two children: Eli and Becky, both now teenagers.

During medical school I was drawn to pediatrics. It seemed to be the only specialty that emphasized patient education and disease prevention as well as treatment. Pediatricians also struck me as the kindest and happiest of all the specialists. Now I understand why. It is a daily blessing to work with children and their families. I feel especially fortunate to be part of Northampton Area Pediatrics. The entire staff is dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, running, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
