Exam Room Tour

Can you find the following: --the otoscope and ophthalmoscope --the exam table with mirror (babies like to look at themselves in the mirror, and some kids do, too!) --ball --book and magazine box (with "I Spy") --picture frames with doctors (can you find your doctor?) --Magic 8 ball --Etch-a-sketch --Tablet computer (for medical records) --Caitlin is helping by typing information into the computer
Vision Testing
When your name is called, the first thing you will do is have your vision tested. This way, we can make sure that you see clearly both near and far.
Hearing testing
Right next to the vision machine is the hearing test machine. Listen for the beeps and raise your hand when you hear them!
Height measurement
On the wall behind the vision and hearing machines is the stadiometer. The stadiometer is how we measure your height.
Weight measurement
There are scales in each exam room to measure your weight. We ask you to undress and put on a gown before we weigh you (not pictured here).
Blood pressure
We have a machine that measures your blood pressure. There is a cuff that is wrapped around your arm that feels like a hug. When you stay still, it takes less than a minute.
