October Employee of the Month

It is a pleasure to have Camilla as part of the NAP family, since she always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude.  Over the last ten years we have been able to share the important events of her wedding and the birth of her two beautiful children.

An interview with Camilla...

How long have you been working at NAP?

It will be 10 years in January.

What was it like when you started working here?

I sat at the front desk with another co-worker and the nurse receptionist was sitting behind me. We had paper charts behind us also. The billing office was where the exams rooms 11 through 13 are.  We only had 6 providers at the time.

What is your role at NAP and what are your special interests within the office? How has your role changed over the years?

When I started working at NAP, I scheduled all the appointments and referrals. I helped families schedule appointments with specialists. Now I work in the billing department as a full time medical biller. I also help families who don't have health insurance.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my kids Mia who is 3 years and Nikolas who is 10 months and also my husband. I love to go to concerts, traveling and going to ball games. I love to spend time with my friends for some good laughs. When I get a chance I like to read a good book.

What are your favorite things about working here?

I love to see the children, especially the newborns. I have great coworkers to work with and have them as friends. The best part of working here is we all work hard and work together well, especially when it is really busy in the office.
