I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I moved to Northampton, Massachusetts in 1999, when I was 36 years old with my family. I have an adult daughter who is a musician and I have a miniature Goldendoodle named Ruthy. I have been a nurse for 30 years, the last 20 of which have been in healthcare quality improvement and management. My clinical experience has mostly been with oncology and bone marrow transplant patients.
I love working at NAP. The patients and families are a pleasure to work with. But what truly makes it a joy is working with the NAP team of Providers and staff who care so much about the people we serve. It is so great to go home at the end of the day knowing that the people you work with put their heart and soul into helping keep the kids in our community healthy. That’s real job satisfaction.
