An Important Note about MassHealth Insurance
The State requires MassHealth enrollees to submit new applications for coverage
The Affordable Care Act requires states to review Medicaid eligibility every 12 months. MassHealth has resumed its annual Medicaid renewal process. Those who fail to respond to a renewal notice, will lose their coverage. The fastest way to reapply for coverage is online through MAhealthconnector.org. You may also reapply utilizing a paper applications which is available at MAhealthconnector.org, or simply call the MassHealth Customer Service Center at 800-841-2900 (800-497-4648 for the hearing impaired) for information and direction.
Reminder to our Masshealth patients:
It is important to keep your address up to date with Masshealth. Masshealth utilizes your address as a means to communicate with you. Communications from Masshealth may include eligibility review forms, requests for absent parent forms or verification of income, to name a few.
If mail is returned to Masshealth as “undeliverable” for an incorrect address, you will likely lose your Masshealth benefits due to failure to provide requested information.
To avoid disruption in Masshealth services, be sure to always update Masshealth with any changes in your address.
