Who We Are
The goal of all the doctors, practitioners and staff at Northampton Area Pediatrics is to provide excellent evidence-based health care to each infant, child and adolescent that we serve.
In order to provide an excellent level of care, we rely heavily upon information provided by parents and the children themselves. Open and comfortable communication between concerned parents and providers is essential to keep children thriving and healthy. Parenting is a tough job and we encourage the parents of our patients to see us as partners and resources in the health, and raising, of their child. There are absolutely no silly questions when it comes to your child’s health, so please ask!
The pediatricians and nurse practitioners at Northampton Area Pediatrics meet weekly in order to promote communication and share medical information. We do not practice individually, but rather, we work together to bring consistent and up-to-date health care to your child and family.

Hospital Affiliations
We are affiliated with the Pediatric Physicians’ Organization at Children’s (PPOC), a network of nearly 100 pediatric practices across Massachusetts, under the umbrella of Boston Children’s Hospital.
All our physicians are on staff at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Baystate Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Our pediatricians make rounds every day at Cooley Dickinson Hospital to visit newborns and hospitalized children. Children requiring inpatient hospitalization receive care from the Cooley Dickinson Pediatric Hospitalist physicians.
Cooley Dickinson Hospital
Our local hospital. We round on our newborns and admitted patients daily, communicating regularly with the pediatric hospitalist team at Cooley to ensure that our patients are receiving the care they need. Several specialists from Mass General Brigham also see patients at Cooley Dickinson.
Baystate Medical Center
Baystate is the closest tertiary care center, providing excellent emergency, inpatient, newborn, and intensive care for our patients. Many of the specialists that care for our children are based at Baystate in Springfield, or at satellite clinics in Northampton or Greenfield.
Boston Children’s Hospital
NAP has a special relationship with Boston Children’s as part of the PPOC (Pediatric Physicians Organization of Children’s). We consult regularly with their specialists and have access to sub-specialists who are often the world leaders in their field. All our providers have participated in continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives through the PPOC.
