Please join us this Sunday October 4th at 4 PM for a workshop on Managing Anxiety in your Child or Teen. This article from NPR highlights interventions that may help prevent or manage anxiety in your child, citing evidence that preventive measures can be successful. Our own pediatrician, Dr. Jonathan Schwab, and clinical psychologist Dr. Sharon Saline will make a short presentation and answer any questions you have (and before you ask, the Patriots have a bye and are not playing this week). Please visit our workshop page for a full listing of upcoming parent workshops.
To RSVP for the workshop, please call 413-517-2226 or email alok@napeds.com
Flu Season Info: Good news from the CDC in this article - it looks like the flu vaccine should be more effective this year, containing strains that match the ones circulating in our community.
We have a lot of opportunities coming up to get your child vaccinated and protected from the flu this season. We are now scheduling flu clinic appointments! Please visit our website’s Flu Information page for the dates of our flu clinics. Also, if your child is coming in for his or her annual physical or another visit this fall, we can offer the vaccine then. Call us at 413-584-8700 to schedule your appointment today!
For more information on this year’s flu vaccine, visit the CDC’s flu website. Even better, come to our November 8th workshop on vaccines with Dr. Schwab (Click this link to get more information about all of our upcoming workshops)
