COVID-19 Update

NAP is partnering with the Northampton Health Department to immediately offer Pfizer-BioNTech COVID to patients 12 years of age and older. The Northampton Health Department’s ongoing Hampshire County Regional COVID vaccine clinic is located at the Northampton Senior Center at 67 Conz Street in Northampton.

NAP highly recommends that all patients ages 12 years and above receive the COVID vaccine.

The City’s Health Department has planned to set aside times for pediatric patients during weekday after-school hours and on Saturdays in the weeks ahead.  The Northampton Health Department, Hampshire County Medical Reserve Corps and Northampton Fire Rescue have a number of staff and volunteers with experience in administering vaccines to children, along with NAP providers and staff who will be volunteering at several of the clinics.  Their clinics have run smoothly and efficiently since the start of vaccine availability. They have given approximately 30,000 COVID vaccine injections since January 11, 2021 including young people aged 16+.  Many NAP families have members who have been vaccinated there.
