Phoebe Woerner, LICSW

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Phoebe Woerner.

Hello! My name is Phoebe Woerner and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) who specializes in working with children, teens and families. I have supported young people’s behavioral health as a school adjustment counselor and as a community based individual and family therapist. Prior to earning my Master’s in Social Work from UC Berkeley in 2018, I worked as a youth programs coordinator in the San Francisco Bay Area and have also worked as a family mediator for the past decade, helping couples and families navigate conflict and significant life changes.

I bring a welcoming and collaborative style to meetings and use a variety of evidence based treatment modalities to support children’s emotional wellbeing and development. I enjoy helping families figure out effective ways to manage anxiety, mood disorders, and behavioral difficulties. While my focus has been on working with adolescents and their particular developmental and behavioral health needs, I love working with children of all ages and am excited to be working in a pediatrics setting here at NAP. I particularly enjoy consulting with parents and caregivers to think through tough situations together and offer guidance when difficult experiences or emotions arise for their children.

I grew up in a small town in the northeast, spent 15 years in California, and moved back east to beautiful Western Mass in 2018. I love being back in a place with real seasons and delight in exploring the local woods and rivers with my partner, our toddler and our dog.
