Susan Pierce, RN, BSN Clinical Services Director, NAP

Susan Pierce brings over 35 years of nursing experience to her role as Clinical Services Director at NAP, including 21 years in Emergency Nursing and a decade in nursing leadership positions. She has a proven track record in advancing quality of care, optimizing processes, and coordinating community resources to support patients beyond hospital discharge.

Prior to joining NAP, Susan served as Senior Manager of Care Continuum in a hospital setting, where she focused on improving care transitions and outcomes. Her leadership experience also includes managing an Emergency Department during the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing Behavioral Health bed management and admission screening, and serving as Hospital House Supervisor and Emergency Department Charge Nurse.

Susan’s return to NAP reflects her enduring commitment to its mission, which has guided her career since she began as an LPN with the organization more than three decades ago. She is deeply rooted in the Easthampton community, where she has lived since 1996, and values strong connections with local families and resources
