NAP holds parenting workshops for community parents once a month during the school year.

Our providers host the workshop and often have guest speakers. We have covered a range of topics including anxiety, infant sleep, ADHD and nutrition.

Parenthood and Adoption
Come join us for a panel discussion led by Edward Plimpton, PhD from NAP. Parenting a child who has been adopted has its own challenges & rewards. In this panel discussion we will talk about some of the common challenges parents face; including open adoption and high needs children. The child’s questions about identity and much more.

Kathy Harrison has been a foster parent who has written about her experience in two books: Another Place at the Table: A Story of a Shattered Childhood Redeemed by Love and One Small Boat: The Story of a Little Girl, Lost and then Found.
